These dark and eerie tunnels are filled with valuable resources, including coal. However, be prepared to encounter some pesky monsters along the way. Remember, they’re just jealous of your mining skills! 3. Keep an eye out for coal veins While exploring the mines, keep an eye out for coal veins. These are black, shiny rocks that contain coal. Simply mine them with your trusty pickaxe, and you’ll be rewarded with a nice chunk of coal. Don’t forget to do a victory dance after each successful mining operation! 4. Time for some nighttime mining Coal veins are more abundant during the night in Dreamlight Valley.
